About the Scholarship
The Helping Hand Scholarship was established in honor of the late Gene Mazur. It supports women pursuing careers in the skilled trades through accredited trade schools, technical programs, apprenticeships, or vocational education.
We believe every educational path has value. Skilled trades build stronger communities and a stronger workforce — and the women who pursue them deserve the same recognition and support as those pursuing traditional four-year degrees.
